Kodály Victoria Choral Festivals are non-competitive, supportive and friendly.

Choirs participate in group singing with a guest conductor before performing two songs for each other, finishing with a performance of the combined choir group singing.

The Kodály Vic Junior Choral Festival is for primary school choirs and primary aged community choirs.

This year we have two sessions; one during school, and one after school.

1.00pm Concert – no public ticketing

Kodaly Victoria is holding the Kodaly Junior Choral Festival on Tuesday 30th July, at Carey Baptist Grammar School. This festival is for primary school choirs and primary aged community choirs. There will be two sessions. Session 1 is during school time and session 2 is after school.

  • We are asking for expressions of interest from choirs wishing to be part of this non-competitive festival, where choirs sing together and to each other in a supportive and friendly environment.
  • In each session the choirs will perform 2 songs for the other choirs and will enjoy some group singing all together.
  • Place are limited so please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to be involved.
  • Please feel free to forward this to other choirs that might be interested.
  • There is no cost to be involved, but conductors need to be members of Kodaly Victoria.
  • Please let us know if you would like to be involved in this great event for young singers, and we will reserve you a place!
